The beginnings . . .
Diamond Ridge Winery is a new addition to
the heart of Historic Bluff Country in
Southeastern Minnesota. We are dedicated
to the production of quality fruit wines,
formulated using hearty blackberries that
were first planted on this site in the early
1920's. When we first tasted these fabulous
fruits, we knew we had to find a way to bring
them to the community in the most intriguing
way possible!
Due to the severe winter cold and snow, the
berries have refreshed and regenerated
themselves over the years, to become the
delightfully sweet, intensely flavorful basis
for our wines.
We are making our wines in the tradition of
the old masters of the craft. We use minimal
amounts of chemicals in the agricultural
area, and filter only when necessary to bring
out the "sparkle" in the wines.
Our wines are currently available in the Southeastern Minnesota area. Please visit these establishments and ask for Diamond Ridge Wines!
